It looks like things are solidifying.
For Thanksgiving, I'll be here in town, probably hopping between my brother's family and Carol and Sabot's, followed by Carol and Sabot getting married. (Congratulations!)
My family here in ABQ will be getting together for dinner on the 13th (Saturday), so probably no other plans that weekend.
Finally, I'll be spending Christmas proper in SoCal with my Dad, Stepmom and Grandma. I'm looking forward to seeing Grandma, since she's 97 years old and her health is not great. So I'm glad to get another chance to visit her.
No really big plans, though. Just visiting. I've really gotten to hate the usual Holiday rigamorole. To me it's just a bunch of silly obsession over "stuff". I just want to visit and hang out with family and friends and maybe get a little fatter on Holiday comfort food, like Rouladen and gravy. Mmmmmm.
It's a pain in the ass trying to lose weight during the Season Of Fatassery, so I've kind of given up. I'm going to just try to limit the damage as much as I can. Meh. The weather's getting colder and I crave gravy. And bacon. And red meat. I think I'm going to cook up a batch of rouladen. :P
Not sure If I'll be hosting the Christmas party for the local furry group right now. Plans really haven't solidified, and I've been juggling (i.e. being jerked around) by scheduling conflicts with my family's get together. Fortunately that seems to have settled on the 13th. Honestly, I'd be just as happy not doing the party this year, since I have a bunch of other stuff to deal with right now.
Well, that's it for now.
