I don't like skipping class. Even if I know I don't actually need to be there, I don't like missing class. I don't like coming in late or leaving early.
But I'm learning to let it go.
I could tell my ENG teachers wasn't happy that I came in 1/2 and hour late, forgot to bring my extra credit, saw that we were just reading papers today, and left with out even setting my stuff down. Granted, I shouldn't have even shown up but I didn't know that I didn't have my EC until I got there. And I was taking a math test and couldn't leave until it was finished and I was in there longer than I thought.
Anyway: this is why I am in college. Because I know my paper is coming along fine and that I don't need to be there today. I'm in college because I am mature and responsible enough to know when I do and do not need to be in class. This is why I am not in high school. I don't need a cage; I need a place to learn. It always scares me to make a teacher mad/frustrated, but I feel independent and uncaged, too.
