That was excellent - I enjoyed it very much, although I wish the reason for writing it didn't exist, if you know what I mean.

I loved the way the characters (who I miss a lot) came back to life with your words, especially dear, sweet Danny, who cares so much about so many things he can't change.

And Isaac was magnificent, of course, as always.

Oh, lovely. Perfectly in-character banter, I could hear all the characters saying this in my head. Sorkin-esque dialogue is difficult to pull off, but you have done it with aplomb. *g*

Congratulations -- you speak Sorkin (and without the bad crack!). This was lovely. I can easily see Dan reacting this way, and the other characters, especially Dana, were spot-on also.

One tiny quibble, though -- I thought Isaac called Dan Danny, not Daniel. But it's been a while, so I could be wrong about that...

He normally calls him Danny, but he also calls him Daniel on a couple of occasions. (I just went through some of the transcripts to make sure.) I figured since it was a fairly serious conversation, I'd go with the full name. (It's pretty interesting, actually; I don't think Isaac ever calls Dan 'Dan'. I think perhaps Isaac is more of a father figure to Dan than his actual father.)

Thank you, though! "Speaking Sorkin" is, again, one of the highest compliments around. (Without the bad crack, of course. =P)
