Honored
I got another e-mail inviting me to join the honors program at school. I'm giving it serious consideration. I've had the grades for it every semester so far, but I don't know. I don't want to get into something I'm going to have to work really fucking hard at. But it might mean more money, and as far as schoolwork goes, that's pretty much my prime motivation for doing well.
I feel like I work hard, but not that hard now. I mean, I have the time and means to play World of Warcraft and make bacon weaves. That kind of says a lot. It's not going to hurt me to apply for this, anyway. and the classes sound fun. So even if I don't graduate "with honors", I can say I was an "honors student" in college, and take some really fun-sounding classes with kids that might even be somewhat intelligent!
I'm kidding about intelligence. Most of the kids in my music classes are more knowledgeable than me, but they just act kind of dumb sometimes.
Anyway. Now I need to find two teachers that like(d) me and are willing to write a recommendation for me.
