I just finished rewatching Wilby Wonderful. Twice. Once with and once without Daniel MacIvor's commentary. I'd forgotten how hard Daniel crushes on Callum. Callum is so fucking beautiful in this.

OMG how his Duck McDonald lights up the screen! Now I gotta do a rewatch pronto...and get my hands on that WW commentary.

He does. And really the whole cast is just perfect. This version of the dvd is the one with the commentary and behind the scenes featurette. The Film Movement versions don't have any extras. I may have 3 different dvd releases.

If you check my tags there are more caps including ones from the BTS featurette.

So upset. *weeps with frustration* I clicked on that link and went through all the steps to get that version of the DVD (because yeah the one I have is the Film Movement one) and then when I tried to do the check-out a window popped up that said my purchase was denied because "Amazon.ca cannot ship DVD's internationally". I then tried the American Amazon site, but there they only have the Film Movement version. *weeps moar*

Really? I've bought dvds from Amazon.can in the past. In fact, a lot of my rarer CKR movies from them. I wonder when they changed their policy. I've even bought stuff from Amazon.UK.

Wilby Wonderful is one of my top ten favorite movies. Callum is fantastic in it, but it's just warm, tender film driven by interesting characters. That's not something you get very often. Thanks for reminding me. I need to revisit it myself sometime soon.

Yeah, the whole movies is perfectly cast. It's fun seeing young Ellen Page.
