The reviews are a mixed bag. Some good, some so-so, some bad.

Wow, there seems to be really divided opinion over whether or not it's funny XD

What's "funny" is so subjective.

Thank you for going to all the trouble of collecting the various reviews. Rather than letting myself read any further though, I'll see the movie for myself and ignore both sides of the opinion range. :)

I always find that's best. Reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt.

You never know if the reviewer has your discriminating taste or not ... do you? :)

If they agree with you, they're brilliant, and if they don't, they're idiots. Oh well, I'm prepared to enjoy myself.

Thank you for putting up all of these!

I do hope Gunless is good - meaning good enough, as I'm a bit wary of the slapstick effect... I reserve my opinion for when I've watched it, meanwhile each time I read a real bad critic, I think of all the bts we've seen and it makes me kind of sad for all those people who had so much enthusiasm for the movie. But then can we really give credits to (Canadian) people whose references for Callum are American productions only?

Just look at how many of the review sort of slam Gunless for being "too Canadian." Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I was amused by the fellow who thought he played "Const. Brendan Fraser" in Due South.

Thanks for putting this together. I fully expect some silliness and knock on wood that I'll enjoy it anyway.

Paul Gross struggles in a role that either Callum Keith Rennie or Hugh Dillon would have worn like an iron glove.
I approve of Callum praise, of course, but well, does he expect a dark-dark lead. I couldn't picture that...
