Today I need to go to the pharmacy to get my scripts refilled. That means dinner with Lon. We usually combine errands with a trip to a restaurant.
After making three police reports and a call to the Mayor's office, the city finally decided to give me a $270.00 credit on my utilities. They verified that my water consumption tripled on the months their workers were in the neighbourhood. The worker's excuse was they didn't think the house was occupied, but they were still stealing huge amounts of water every day, so whether someone was home or not should not have made any difference. The contractors lost their chance for future bids with the city, and I got a partial refund on my bill based on the increases for the months the workers were present. This will help a tiny bit towards the $2000.00 I need to raise for taxes.
I'm still working my way through my movie collection at random, although a post from dingo727 prompted me to dig out the Morrissey/Warhol version of FRANKENSTEIN and watch it. There's no 3-D with the DVD, but it's still a fun flick.
The next five movies in my current stack are: The Royal Tannenbaums, Box Of Moonlight, Clean Shaven, Woman In A Lizard's Skin, and Cry Baby.
