(no subject)
I got a new laptop for Christmas (actually, I've been saving for months to get it, but my Christmas money meant that I could get it now). It naturally runs Windows 7 and seems to like downloading a lot of fucking important omg install these updates now or everything will be awful and shit and we'll end up with cats and dogs living together etc etc. Of course, I am so very bothered. Actually, I'm just finding the "RESTART OR DIE A FIERY HORRIBLE DEATH" pop-ups annoying. So at 10.30, I restarted it and went for a shower. It was busy installing update 13 when I left the room. Two hours later, it is STILL installing update 13. Is this normal or should I hurt things?
