The inside of her nose hurts.
Bobby’s breath billows as he bends and points, tilts and squints.
“Not enough blood,” he says. “She…didn’t die here.”
Eames nods and stamps her feet. The sound is muffled, heavy. Her toes ache. Bobby looks at her.
“Cold?”
“Could say that.” She sniffs. Her nose is running. She almost swipes it with her mitten when a handkerchief appears.
“You…never have any of your own.” He smiles.
She takes it.
