We both recently switched to an iphone and I personally am in love with mine. It took some getting used to at first, but I love it if only for the applications that you can add to it. For instance, Jon has a conference that's at Disney World in Feb., so the kids and I are going to come along. There is an application that is a map of each park complete with with clickable icons that tell what the prices are at each restaurant, the size restrictions for "x" ride, even how many stalls there are at each bathroom location. That's pretty invaluable information, especially for a parent. There are other applications that are handy as well- the new york times is updated daily, for free; you can get the ny subway map, as well as what lines have delays/how long. The keyboard does take getting used to, but the ability to have youtube at your fingertips (when Sophie is acting up at the grocery, etc., I'll go to youtube and pull up a wubbzy clip and she's good- it's a godsend!) comes in handy, as well as downloading games to keep the little one occupied (there's a "game" called "Balloons" which basically entails tapping your finger on the screen and a balloon will appear and blow-up and float to the top of the screen. The length of time you keep your finger on the screen controls the size of the balloon.. keep it on for too long and it'll pop. Stupid, I know, but kids love it..).

Okay, so I'll stop now. I've seem to have written a book on how awesome of a mother I am by throwing an iPhone at my kids to keep them busy, but you know, sometimes you just want to go to the bathroom without someone following you in and playing with the toilet paper while you go. ;)
