[weekend/werk] Cheap Laughs all round.
Successfully negotiated my low energy weekend as planned. Had a few bits of shopping to do and an appointment at the building society for some financial tweaking Saturday morning but otherwise it was all R & R. Most of the relaxation came in the form of watching my bargain buy of the week from the Paramount 3 for £15 DVD offers (Airplane and Airplane II:The Sequel, Police Squad (in Colo(u)r!) and Nacho Libre). Much hilarity ensued and left me feeling very chilled which should hopefully set me up nicely for the no doubt manic week ahead.
As it happened, today was pretty good. Everything ran pretty much to schedule and I managed the get out of The O before 7pm. Can't imagine the rest of production will run as smoothly (I've been lumbered with two meetings tomorrow for a start) but it was nice to have a fairly sedate beginning to production for a change!
