Oh, the possibilities! *g* I didn't read the prompt/movie details until after the story, but it's certainly a fascinating concept, and the story worked well even without the background knowledge. Lovely character work and the overall feeling of tension and sensuality - a perfect fit.

Oh yay, I'm glad to hear it worked without seeing/reading about the movie. I wasn't sure. I wanted to bring in enough details from the movie for the thing to make sense, but I didn't want to be to exposition-y. And much of the movie is campy and ridiculous, and I wanted my story to have a different tone.
