That whole wanting to be somewhere/someone else vibe of the song, wishing for a bigger life totally fits, but some lyrics in particular struck me.

I think this one sort of speaks for itself. From the very first scene, this song was playing in my head. Between Patrick wishing he was out of school, and the various wishes that get him out of it, I figure it fits pretty well.

I had a couple of different Depeche Mode songs going through my mind when they finally got together, but this one is slow and sexy, and the lyrics are dark but sweet. So, yeah.
