The sun would probably be brighter without all those clouds

Well, the shuttle came down safe and sound on Friday afternoon so I am back to day shift. I think I turned back into a real person after about a day and a half twisted schedule Friday and early Saturday. At one point I woke up talking to my roommate and realized I was on the couch. I have no idea how or when I went to sleep there. Then Saturday afternoon I went to watch the roommates test for their black belts at a seminar. That was pretty fun. They had a very special guest for the seminar. I don't recall his name, but he is a 10th dan in Shotokan karate. Not too many of those around and for an 80 year old fella, he looked pretty darn good.

Went back to work today on day shift and felt pretty good about it. Tomorrow I get to start going back to Aikido practice which I'm looking forward to very much. And it looks like I have found a potential gym partner or two for Mon, Wed, and Fridays. The new engineers at the office seem to be turning out like really good people. We were talking today about the frightening things Kansas is generally known for, and then one of them asked me if I had heard of the flying spaghetti monster. This bodes well.

I've been watching a lot of classic Doctor Who lately. I just finished the run of the first Doctor William Hartnell yesterday and started on the second Doctor. It's a trip because the first Doctor Who exposure I had was the series in 2005 on the Sci-Fi channel.

Also, I just purchased my plane ticket to back home for a few days in the middle of July.
I fly up on Saturday the 14th and fly back on Monday the 23rd. I believe that either the 17th or 18th I am going to be driving to Evansville, Indiana for my first Indian Sun Dance Ceremony. I'm looking forward to it.
And the couple days before I go, I will be making a special point to go see Carbondale people. And probably watch the Transformers movie with them. Put this on your calenders either Sunday or Monday.

Hmmm... Had more to say than I thought.
