So... two weeks ago, I posted a lament about how hard writing novels was, and a request for ficlet prompts.
Since then, I have written a little over 7,000 words in three fandoms and four ficlets... :-0
Two of which have already been posted (A Second Chance For A First Impression and When Two Rights Make A Wrong, both in Jericho fandom), the other two (for Miracles and a shameless id-fic for Sons of Anarchy) are currently awaiting edits and should hopefully be up in the next week or so.
I had so much fun writing these. And it proves that I can still write words, even if those damned novel-sized stories made me think I'd all burned out. Now I have to figure out how to use this knowledge to whip those novels into publishable shape....
In completely unrelated news: who thought it was a good idea to cram all of summer into a single weekend? It's Too Friggin' Hot...! 28C indoors, 33C outdoors, and a humidity of between 60 and 70% is really NOT FUN.
