Hunebedden and bicycles...
Today, we finally actually visited Groningen, instead of only bussing back and forth to the bus/train to go somewhere else. We strolled around, climbed the plus 200 steps to the top of the Martinitower, and one of my colleagues was kind enough to give 
tanaqui a private tour of city hall (for which she once did the copy editing of the English brochure).

Yesterday was "hunebeddenday", and we went to Borger, which claims to be the hunebed capital. The biggest hunebed is near the information center, and after visiting it, we did a nice, very well sign-posted hike through the beautiful Drenthe landscape.
