So. Apparently, AO3 is run by a clique of BNFs who are hacks that can't make it in the academic world and who have no clue how copyright law works, while they're dragging fanfic kicking and screaming into the limelight because they want to study it like a bug and further their academic careers while destroying fandom for the rest of us.
Or it's Americans trying to take over fandom.
No wonder my gay!Beck muse proved to be no competition compared to all this in getting my attention today...
