RL woes and cat spam
I should be enjoying a relaxing day off from work and write some fic, after an intensive course day yesterday. Instead, I'm sick with a cold: stuffy head that aches (a.k.a. brain ded), sore throat, coughing, sneezing, the works. *glares at germs*
Also, work's in a turmoil, with big budget cuts and panicky reorganizations. Of course, Communications is a luxury, and the garden gnomes could write the press releases just as well (and the thousands other things we actually do), so my department head is planning an emergency session on Monday evening to come up with a counterplan before they simply strike us off the books entirely. (The only good thing is that nobody with an open-ended contract, which is most of us, needs to fear about losing their employment. Just their actual job... which sucks plenty when you feel you're actually doing something useful that you enjoy too.)
So, anyway, feeling quite sorry for myself. Hence, have a cat spam:
