So, now that the worst of the most recent shit storm has died down, and I got my personal journal up and running, I finally managed to get back to the Supernatural story I’ve been working on since, oh, forever. It sat unwanted on my hard disk for nearly two weeks, after all the hard work
inimicallyyours put into it… Bad author, no cookie!
Anyway, I made the last minor changes, and uploaded
the first chapter of The Day The World Went Away to
mooncross_fic.The story will also be posted at
ff.net, and of course at my
personal fic archive, but I haven’t got around to that yet.
As for my own archive, transferring that to
scribblesinink.com is going to be the next big project on my list. But I haven’t quite decide on whether to see if I can use one of the open source CMS programs available (I’m currently looking at Drupal), or if I should try to handle things with another install of WordPress. One of the big advantages of the last method is that I am already familiar with its interface and some of its quirks. But I have to figure out if and how I can use the same install and database for different subdomains.
After all,
supernatural.scribblesinink.com and
lordoftherings.scribblesinink.com kinda has a cool ring to it, don’t you think?
Any advice is welcome…
