Yay! Coming soon to a television near me: Sean Bean in Flightplan (meaning that it's next on my rental DVDs list).

Here's the list (in no particular order) of people that compose Boromir's retinue for his journey to Dunland, where he will take up position of rightful Lord and make his residence (I'm currently trying not to think of the fact that he will need some sort of decent house, too). Some of the people (like among the grooms/carters) will probably return to Minas Tirith eventually.
Feel free to take potshots at it. Did I miss anyone important? Do I have too many/too few of a certain function? The numbers were largely picked out of thin air...
It is important, though, that Boromir doesn't come across as too heavy handed; he is not traveling to Dunland to conquer and suppress, but to rule in name of the King and bring peace and prosperity (hmm, that would look good on a poster :-))
manservants: 1or 2
steward/castellan: 1
private secretary : 1
clerks: 3
cooks: 3 (1 chef + 2 assistants; lots of mouths to feed on the journey)
scullions: 2
baker: 1
soldiers/guardsmen: 50 (including 10 new recruits)
captain of the guard: 1
lieutenants: 2
standard bearer: 1 (for appearance's sake)
pages/messengers: 4 (these roles can be fulfilled by children of other servants)
squires: 1
master of horse: 1
grooms & carters: 16 (because he has a large wagon train)
farrier/blacksmith: 1 master, (2 apprentices attached for free)

I've bolded the ones I think would form his advisers on important decisions. Several roles can be fulfilled by the same people, of course.
