Never alone
Well, our second kitty died last night. We've had her for twelve years, which is a good long life for a cat. It's also over half of mine, and it feels strange without her. I can't say it was unexpected, but I can't say I'm not heartbroken too. She went peacefully, fell asleep right in the living room (with no sense of dying privately. It was just like her).
