Depending when and where this is I'll join in on the fun. Since I have to jam so much cosplay into this year as it is, and I don't think I would have time to make anything else (or the money).

If I did anyone, it would probably be China. XDDD

Awesome! What would make this get together more easy for you? Any times/places you could suggest?

I'm in Providence, RI for college, so I don't really know an area where a good RPG photoshoot could take place [I was thinking an area without buildings or cars visible].

This is how crazy cosplay is for me right now, from now until like November I have to do 8-ish outfits, so next year would be good for me. At for when I wanna suggest a time people will be off from school, which leaves long weekends and vacations (spring and summer).

I'm from Northern Jersey, and during the school year I probably wouldn't be able to go too far since of well school. XDDDDD

That's a whole lot of cosplay! @n@ I'm guessing spring would be the best time for this get together. On the plus side, that leaves a lot of time for the costumes to be made.

Okay. I'm trying to figure out a good middle ground location wise for this shoot, but we'd probably need someone from the area so that we'd know where we're going.

Spring is also a very pretty time of year so nice shots can be taken. And plenty of time to make costumes is a nice thing~

Someplace that is also easy to access by public transportation would be good as well since that is the way I get around.

Very true. I think aiming for spring would be good.

Agreed, I'm in a similar situation. The only other option for me is renting a school van, but that would require me knowing the exact route to get there and back. Picking a place that is easily accessible is essential [I mean, if its a park we have to walk through to get to a more secluded place so be it, but initially we should be able to get there by public transportation].

Maybe I should advertise this group on cosplay.com or another Hetalia community. Getting more people involved who know a good spot would be great.

I'm just gonna throw it out there and say New York City is very accessible to like everyone I think, so looking into some places there might be a good idea. You mentioning a park just made me think of Central Park, since it is very nice, big and we could find a place for us to take pics as well. And I love picnics I'll keep thinking of places possible though~ <3

I think it would be good to advertise this to another community or cosplay.com. I'll pimp this on my LJ as well since I have a good number of Hetalia friends on it. But just keep in mind that a big group is hectic to organize. I'm doing Gakuen now, and I'm going insane. I'm lucky to have the people who I do to help me organize it, or I would be a mess without them.

Central Park did run through my mind, and it's a really good suggestion. I was kind of thinking something more along the lines of a State Park because it would have the RPG feel, but if we can't find one that is both comfortable to be in [picnic area, not too out in the middle of nowhere, ect] and close enough to travel to, then NYC might end up being the setting. Picnics are a must at any Hetalia meet up XD

I was also considering trying to get a CD cover group together once all the designs for them came out, but that'll probably have to wait a while...

I saw the Gakuen group! I would have joined but the characters I wanted to cosplay were already taken, haha! I know that organizing these things can be totally stressful, which is why having it in the future is a plus, but also having the people involved helping out is great. Like right now, you're helping me SO much by just being someone to bounce ideas off of.

Well I went through some State Parks in NY and got this It's the only one I saw that has some scenic shots, and get to by public transportation. There would be a cab involved too, but if we get enough people riding the cab then cost can be split meeting up at the station where the cab would be caught. XDDDDDD

I know me and my friends are doing a CD cover group for next year. China's CD coming out so late kills us all.

I'm glad to be of some service. What were the characters you were interested in doing? If anyone drops I could let you know. I know we're also still looking for some Baltics and Nordics and Mediterranean characters as well. XDDDDDD

Nice suggestion! I took a look at some pictures of Rockefeller Park and it looks SO beautiful...! I think that'd be an awesome place for the meet up. I'd most likely have to drive, with the cost of the train from Providence to NYC, but if I do then I guess I could offer to pick people up along the way.

Whoa, really? Great minds think alike, I guess! And I know, right? It takes SO LONG for each CD to come out... It's painfuuuul.

I usually go as America, who I know you already have X3. I also have Russia wig but I'm definitely not as tall as he should be, haha! I've never really considered any of the Baltics, Nordics or Mediterraneans, but maybe I'll take a look at some if you need anyone else.

It's so sad that like all state parks in NY is like so far in NY. But I'm gonna keep looking for possible places.

And it's all 'cuz of Prussia's CD! They pushed the dates back 'cuz of him. I mean I love Prussia but God Dammit. I was gonna get China by the end of the year originally. And we should have France right now with the original dates. TT__TT

I think of the Nordics we only need Iceland. And the Baltics I know we need an Estonia. There are more characters I know, but my memory fails me right now. XDDDD
