Having Fun with Digital Arts

Sep 11, 2009 10:00

This isn't a big post. Things have been going well here, tho a bit hectic. First my mate and I had to help my mom move from a small town to a more local apartment. After that we renovating our kitchen. With the kind support of our landlords we've taken a very dark and aged kitchen and breathed new life into it. It's impressive how much of a difference new paint, floor, tiles, and lighting make. Our kitchen is full of much more comfiness. We've also had Diadexxus visiting with us for the last week. My mate and I have had a huge amount of fun playing host and touring her around Vancouver's sights and tasty foodses.

I have some new suity pics to post, but I will save that for next week. After all the extra excitement and commotion we're going to take this weekend to relax. For now tho, I'd like to share some art I recently finished. The picture below is a project I've been working on in my spare time. I find working on art a great way to relax before bed. This particular project is the most detailed digital piece I've done to date. It was done over several late night sessions before I'd get too sleepy to draw straight. Overall it was a great deal of fun. I've never done a digital picture of this complexity before; working on it has given me ideas for several other pics. I'll work on them when I get time. In the meantime, enjoy the pic. :)
