Oh my God, Kraliyt'pourex'llax Brizzirptuyrq'turg was the best mathematician ever! She was the one who proved a whole bunch of axioms and also came up with the formula for faster than light space travel!

An axiom is a mathematical statement that serves as a starting point from which other statements are logically derived! They're not proven, but they're just assumed to be true, so proving an axiom is, like, the greatest thing ever.
