"... You think he's what!?"

It had slipped out. She hadn't even been listening to her red haired friend when she'd said it. It wasn't her fault they were talking about a very distracting topic! It was all Kallen's fault, Mion decided, but now was not the time for finger pointing, unfortunately. That was easy.

"W-What are you talking about? I didn't say anything about him!" Hands flew up as if to block the accusations.

"Oh yes you did! You said you think that self centered, conceited guy is--" Maybe it was time for finger pointing - there was one in her face now.

Of course, cue the finger being smacked away. "I did not! This old man thinks you're hallucination, Kallen, all I would have said was that he's fun to hang around! You know, maybe you should sit down--"

"I am sitting down!" Now arms were crossed and excuses were running out. "And he's not fun, either."

"I... I wasn't even listening to you!" she finally admitted, pointing outside. "Because... ah... he walked by!"

Kallen could only stare out the window. She looked back at Mion as if to confirm what she was seeing, but her face... well it wasn't helping much.

"... Don't you hate him?"

"H-Hahaha! That doesn't mean I can't... appreciate him! This old man is still a girl after all, hahahahaha!! Now don't you go telling that grouchy ol' innkeep something that isn't true, okay? Hahahahahaha!!"

"... I guess that makes sense. Heh, you're less of an "old man" than I thought! Anyway, let's go to sleep, I'm tired."

Really, Kallen thought as she settled into the hammock Mion had assigned her to sleep in, not noticing the immense sigh of relief that came from her side. Who in their right mind would think Lelouch was hot?
