so today was my day off... supposedly the day where i relax, etc etc.
i recieved a call this morning about a reception position so i jumped out of bed, and mark and i caught the train and trams for about an hour and a half just to get to the recruitment place where i would have an interview with the recruitment person, then we were going to drive to the workplace i was trying for and meet the people that were wanting the receptionist.
i arrived at the recruitment place with about 15 mins to spare, mark wasnt allowed in, so i didnt even get to say goodbye to him, then i sat arround for half an hour waiting for the woman to be ready for me, she came in, we had a great chat about the job and my previous jobs, and all of that, and then she told me that unfortunatly, we wouldnt be going to the workplace, as the lady there had called and said that they have a meeting scheduled that is finishing about the same time as we were going to get there... so anyway, i hung around for another 15 mins after the recruitment lady and i had chatted, waiting for the final decision about whether we were going there or not... turns out we werent, so because i lost mark after i got shunned inside and the door locked behind me, i caught the tram then train home by myself and then went back to marks house.
i just checked my emails, and there's an email from this recruitment chick who says unfortunately they have had many applicants for this job, and i didnt get it. what total bullshit. What is it with people giving me the impression that i would be really good at the job, and that i have a great chance (because "the other girl that applied cancelled on them") and then EMAILING me to say that i wasnt successful.
grrrrrr.
anyway, now mark and i are cooking dinner.... roast chicken. yum. we saw it on better homes and gardens this morning and decided to try it. yay.
roast chicken wirth wedges and pumpkin and carrot. and tarragon. and basil. and rosemary. and salt. and pepper,. and butter and olive oil and smoked paprika... (as you can tell those were the ingrediants for the sikkon.)
anywhooo.. must go...
more tomorrow when im at work...
