(no subject)
my life is deffinitly picking up now
day before thanksgiving:
i had a half day, so priya came over and we hung around till my mom came at 4
then my mom and I went to the fedex place to pick up the miniCDs i ordered for my digital camera
they suck, they tried 4 days in a row to deliver it at 12:00 pm, i have schoool
thanksgiving:
this was supposed to be my relax day, but my aunt invited my family for dinner
and ofcoarse, she made turkey
i didnt mind as much as i thought i would, i ate it, and it was delicious
officially the very first time i had turkey for thanksgiving
i cousin that was at the dinner was talking to me about computer stuff
i talked to him about my college plans, he told me about his after college plans
he works at best buy, and talked to me about black friday
i asked him to hold a laptop for me, and he said sure, so i was really excited about that
rest of the family heard my excitement (the neighbors probably heard it too XD) so they all asked him to hold laptops for him.
my mom didnt want him to get in trouble, so she said well go at like 6 to just pick it up from him there.
turns out: he was completly unable to hold anything at all
so, i spent my money on other things :)
two 1gig flash drives, $15 each! freekin nuts
a DVD player that supports DIVX(freekin SIC!) $30
a 1gig MP3 player, $35
so i was satisfied, lol
rest of the day was just sitting at home planning for tommorow, my trip to new york
day after thanksgiving (TODAY!)
ive been wanting to go to new york for a looong time now
never really went to just hang out you know
so i grabbed my guitarist chris, he moved to south brunswick the same time i did, only from new york
so he was my guide and my buddy
we met up with his friend and conversed plenty
dude, his friend is freekin awsome too! both those kids are insane
on the train there, i had brought sticker paper and printed our own tags, so we wrote words on blank sticker slices
and tagged EVERYWHERE in new york
dude, it was so freekin fun
lmfao, chris tagged a little girl!!!!
and also tagged some guy wearing those sign things, lol, hit him right on his back!!!
chris is nuts...
we did random stuff embarrasing ourselves like hell
the most fun ive had in waaay too long
we stopped this one square and checked out these little tents where they were selling random stuff
there was a girl selling silk-screened stencil prints
dude, they were so freekin amazing, i took a picture of the girl, it was like woah
one of my favorite ones that she made was of a tree
and behind the tree was a bird flying
and the branches ontop of the bird were bent inwards and almost gridded
which looked like a bird cage, which was like...woah
cute AND talented, insane
we went to the toys r us in times square
we messed around there, too many stories to tell, lol
but yes, ofcoarse, every good day is bad according to my parents, but it was worth the verbal abuse
deffinitly do it again any day
AND JACKIE WAS IN NEW YORK TOO! but i had no idea, damnit
after i came back to newark with chris, my mom wanted me to get a haircut, so i headed to elm street
first i stopped at sam's house and introduced her to chris.
plan was to say hi to paula then get my haircut, but my mom kept calling telling me she wanted me to be done in like 10 minutes, which wasnt going to happen :(
so i got my haircut, and my mom picked me up right afterwards
i even told sam that id come back after i got my haircut, which didnt happen and i felt bad for that
after that, i went home, picked up my bass from chris's and am now online
