since last friday...
...I am a homeowner.
Scary, eh? It's too bad I haven't been taking pictures of the things I'm fixing for "before and after" shots. Oh well. So far I've replaced washer hoses with super fancy stainless steel-braided "no burst" hoses and the dryer vent system (the house came with all the appliances). And as fond as I am of retro 70s electronic gadgets the electronic door bell/clock had to go. I'm more of a plain jane "ding-dong" door bell person - none of this Westminster chimes crap every time someone drops by.
Tomorrow I clean the bathrooms. After that we should be ready to begin moving. I won't officially be there until July - Marianne will be taking residence first. That means I'll have all that time to slowly move my crap instead of having to do it in a day like the last three times I moved.
