The Longest Journey: Prologue!

HI EVERYBODY MY BRAIN HURTS

Well, here I am, trying my hand at a screencap adventure. I'm going to be playing The Longest Journey, a game made in 1999 in Norway. It's a fun game, full of AMUSING DIALOGUE, with faintly awkward CG and a lovely take on DA FUTUUUURE. Or the past. It all depends on how you look at it ( Read more... )

ahah. I love it. 1999 was the year of "LETS MAKE PRETTY BACKGROUNDS AND RENDERS BUT THE REST OF THE GRAPHICS WILL SUCK."

Never even heard of this game, but it does seem to have a promise of being epic, strange, and full of great lines!

EXACTLY SWEET JESUS this game has beautiful backgrounds and scenery and such but the graphics themselves suck so much.

EPIC. EPIC YES. Very epic. Epic-tastic.

Heh, wow, this is a pretty cool game.

The graphics on that close-up of the Silver Surfer there look like Sims 2 graphics! A GAME AHEAD OF IT'S TIME

Haha, April is such a cheery girl. "Oh, great. I'm dreaming AGAIN." :<
Her and the Emo Tree make a good pair.

That is one shiny dragon. :O

Oh it's one of those 'combine stuff to get stuff' games. Those tend to be... interesting in some parts.

Oh man I love the Emo Tree. Please say that it's not going to be leaving. D:

Yeah I think this looks like it'll be a neat game too.

OH HEY I think my sister has this game! She's very into the adventure games and picked it up not too long ago in a package deal, IIRC. I think she looooooved it, but I never got to see it in action since she squirreled herself away in her room to play it...

It's sad when you can take ONE LOOK at a game's graphics and instantly date it. XD;

I so would, but my gaming computer (the one capable of displaying graphics more complicated than the original Diablo's, in other words - my laptop's graphics card is a bit messed up) is out being fixed. >:

...and she'd probably bite me or something. >_>;
