Radiant Historia, Part 5

Aug 26, 2012 13:33

It's that time again! Last time on "Let's Play Radiant Historia!" with Lady Nighteyes, we beat up a guy who needed his figurative language privileges revoked and got a bunch of exposition. In this installment, we'll finally get to see one of the game's many bad ends, start some sidequests, and do some minor time traveling.

Are you excited? 'cause I'm excited. )

This is my problem with a lot of time-travel fiction: The particular system chosen doesn't appear to make a great deal of sense. That could just be the way it's explained here, though, so I'll reserve judgement. But I really like time-travel and I am kind of a stickler for logic trumping the practicalities of how the writers want the story to progress. I am totally fine with getting bad ends for reasons you don't know about, though. Why should everything important happen only when the protagonist is there?

Still really confused by Marco's character, though. He just looks like a small child bundled up in a grown man's viking clothes.

Wait, why wouldn't the Black Chronicle guy just timetravel back before Stocke got the White Chronicle and like kill him or something? ARGH TIME TRAVEL

Long story short, because killing Stocke isn't really his top priority. But this is getting near spoileriffic territory, so let's just leave it at that for the moment. ;)
