TWO DAYS!!! Ahead: Rantings and Picspam!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Could this day/weekend get any better!? TWO DAYS till Oscar Night!! Beautiful new pics of our Dame!!! More Helen Mirren articles than you can shake a stick at!!! ... Oh, let it never end!!!
Oscar is EVERYWHERE right now!! Yes, even in my textbook!! In a totally bizarre coincidence we ended up talking about a copyright case in class yesterday where the Academy sued this Ad agency because their "Star" award was too similar to the Oscar statuette! (and therefore, infringing on their copyright!) blah blah blah... lots of technical/legal jargon later... Court rules that the statuette IS protected by copyright and defendants WERE infringing (1991) !! ... ok, how many people fell asleep? WAKE UP!!!
We all laughed about the bizarre timing, but as is the strict fashion in grad school, we were not allowed to go into our own thoughts on the upcoming oscars :-( ... no fair!!! I'll take any moment I can to pontificate on the AMAZINGNESS that is Helen Mirren!!

Actually, the ones I posted yonder I didn't have to sell my soul to the devil to obtain. These on the other hand.... these I cannot, absolutely CANNOT post on a forum quite as public as that. So you are the only ones who get to enjoy them ...
