Good news from the vet today. Mattie's platlet count is back to normal!! Of course, her wbc is still double what it should be and her hemoglobin isn't in the normal range which means her body is still fighting something. She has gained back 3 pounds so things are looking much better for maintaining her. This week we will cut back on the prednisone to see if she can maintain on a lower dose. All in all, it's good news and we will see what the coming week brings. Much love, Mom
