Okay, so his name is Kyle and he lives in this shitty apartment (because being a lowly studio minion doesn't pay very well, don'cha know) with his bf Paul, who wants to be an artist. Or a musician. Or a poet. Or a writer. Who knows? Certainly not Paul. Kyle thinks he is a slacker and drives Paul crazy by basically bitching about everything but they're totally ~IN LOVE and shit.

I may have put way too much thought into this.

“They’re impossible.”

Paul groans and pokes himself an eyehole in the sheets he’s somehow managed to mummify himself in as he watches his boyfriend angrily search for his socks. One of his legs has fallen asleep and he debates the merits of moving to relieve it or just leaving at it is and hoping for more sleep himself. Unfortunately, Kyle answers that for him, keeping up a steady monologue of insults and complaints under his breath.

“It’s like they don’t even care,” Kyle snaps suddenly, startling Paul out of a doze. “I have a job to do, and all they do is just - fuck around!” He locates a sock trapped under one of the legs of the bed and pulls; it stubbornly refuses to give before letting go abruptly. Kyle tumbles backwards and sits heavily, landing with an oofPaul struggles his way free of the sheets and sits up, looking over at Kyle, who is pulling the sock on as if he has a personal vendetta against it. “Dude, chill,” Paul says, and
