If it's possible, tryin' don't hurt (plus random thoughts!)

This is the part where I talk about me? First of all, "what's up with the thread name, and why does it sound texan" you ask? It's a note of optimism. It's easy to be negative, but it takes energy to be positive. The part in parathensis is just that: random thoughts that I'd probably post here. Oh, and I needed to say it like a hick, because of the character-space limit.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" "I want to be an airplane pilot!" That's the answer you get from a 4-year old kid who just got asked what he considers for a potential career. WTF? At four, kids are only concerned about three things: Food, sleep, and entertainment. The funny thing is, right up until you move out of the house, those are still the only things that're important. LOL..

17 years later, I miss those three concerns. Food and sleep are still important, but no longer is it free and flexible, respectively. Entertainment, now that's the strange one. In this modern day, boredum is enough to kill a person. We always need a source of stimulation to feed our neuro-social hunger. Otherwise we go insane! (that's the first time I've actually used that emoticon... ).

Now, at 21, this university student majoring in psychology, is having a mid-degree crisis. Almost all of these degrees get you boring desk jobs. There's not enough excitement in that. The army - there's a place FULL of thrill and adventure. The catch(es): the pay sucks, the work is contractual (long-term!), and best of all: your treated like dirt for until you reach the rank of officer. Not to rant, but a general should respect the private who's out in the field sacrificing his ass so that the general back at base can smoke his cigar in peace.

I could always seduce a hot woman in an unsatisfied relationship with a bazillionaire and freeload off her HAHA!!..., but that'd be "misusing the power." Back-up plan K: check.

The next best thing I'd like to do is be a hollywood stuntman. Doing insanely dangerous stunts seems to be in my blood. I have yet to find a fear (perhaps falling into a pool of dangerous sea critters with no harpoon, and no way out.. hmm.). I got arrested a few times for being a public nuisance. "Hey officer, let's see you try and climb the glass side of that building. I'll buy you a 12-pack, if you're crazy enough. *laf*" "Make it a year's supply and we'll talk." HAHA!! That was the best police officer I've ever talked to... No, I don't get in trouble often.

Stunts and martial arts seems to go together fluidly. Ok, I'm going to hit the hay. I can't work out with no sleep.

For all those that bothered to take a read, peace, and good night.
