"So who'd you spend your night with, Morgan? Veronica, Mona, Jacky, Dana?" Prentiss asked.
"Uh, no, I went to talk to Tony and ended up crashing in his guestroom," Morgan said. Prentiss and JJ just stared at him, mouths open.
"How'd his apartment look?" JJ whispered.
"It was nice, very clean and stuff," Morgan said, nodding to himself. "He's got a good sense of style, he's very smart, and he-"
"Is right behind you, because you're blocking my way," Tony said quietly. Morgan jumped and moved, having been thoroughly surprised, like JJ and prentiss. "I thought we had an agreement. No profiling the others on the team?" Tony asked.
"Yeah, of course," Prentiss said. Tony looked at the three of them.
"You're just going to keep talking as I go over to talk to Hotch about the new case, aren't you?" Tony asked, frowning.
"Of course not," JJ said.
"Right," Tony looked at Morgan, "I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't. Please," Tony said sincerely and walked off to go see Hotch. Morgan looked after him, frowning silently to himself.
"Well come on then! Spill!" Prentiss grinned.
"Nah, nah I don't think I should. He's a good guy, Prentiss."
"We know, like, NOTHING about him," Prentiss countered as she sat down.
"So what? Tony's a genius too, you know," Morgan said.
"Why are you all of a sudden defending him?" JJ asked.
"Because he deserves better!" Morgan said. "He doesn't know me, and he let me crash in his guestroom after I...I wrapped my fingers around his neck hard enough to bruise. Blamed him for Spencer not being like everyone else and able to enjoy himself. Asked him to quit. And he still let me crash in his guestroom, made me breakfast, tossed my old clothes in the washer," Morgan drew a deep breath. "He's a good kid. He's just as old as Spencer is, you guys know that, right?" Morgan asked.
"Spencer's 2...7, right?" Prentiss asked.
"He's 23. So is Tony," Hotch said making them all jump. "We have a case. Rapist gone murderer, escalating, and it's local," Hotch finished and turned around to go to Gideon's office. Tony was nervously waiting by Hotch's office. Hotch hadn't seen him when he'd barged out. "We meet in forty," Hotch said and went towards his office. "I need to speak with you," Hotch said. Tony gave a small nod and waved the case a bit. "You already know?" Hotch asked. Tony gave a small nod and Hotch opened the office door.

"I wonder what Hotch needs to talk to Tony about," Prentiss asked and looked at Spencer. Spencer shrugged.
"I don't know everything about his life," Spencer said. Truthfully, he was curious. He wanted to know, but he had so much respect for his brother that he wouldn't ask. What was between Hotch and Tony, was between Hotch and Tony.
"I thought you guys were tight?" Prentiss asked. Spencer tore his gaze away from Hotch's office door to look at Prentiss. He nodded. "Then...how come you don't know?" he pointed discretely to the door of Hotch's office.
"Contrary to popular belief, I actually do have a life. Tony has a life too, we don't spend every waking minute together. Honestly," Spencer sighed and shook his head.

"We found fifteen others. Most got away from the man but there were three others that were sexually assaulted. I think you were the last one before he escalated to murder. The others were forced to do oral sex," Hotch said. Tony gave a short nod. "Is this him?" Hotch asked. Tony looked at the picture and nodded. "Are you sure?"
"I have a photographic memory, I wouldn't be able to forget unless someone stabbed my memory with a screwdriver," Tony gave a small smile as Hotch nodded. "The others'll want me off the case. Gideon will say I'm not ready to face the man."
"Are you?" Hotch asked.
"It doesn't take a genius to know I will be afraid. But as long as I have Spencer or you with me I'll be fine. I don't want to be alone, though," Tony said. Hotch gave a nod.
"You come to me with ANYTHING, okay?" Hotch asked. "Even if it's a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach, if anyone so much as approaches you about your thesis on human development, you come to me, okay?"
"You know about my thesis?" Tony asked.
"I've read all your theories. Just like I have with Reid's," Hotch said. Tony smiled, a genuine smile, and Hotch offered a rare smile in return. Mending broken fences, so to speak, one step at the time.
"Thank you," Tony said and got up, "We should get on this case immediatly. If he's escalating this fast..." Tony said.
"He's a bible killer," Hotch said.
"Yes. He is. He quoted the bible perfectly when he was done with me, and said that I belonged to the scum of the earth. He perverts God. I believe he's psychotic," Tony said. Hotch stood as well.
"All right, well, I have your report. I'm glad you have a photopgraphic memory or this guy would be a hell of a lot harder to catch," Hotch said. Tony gave a small smile.
"At least someone appreciates it," he joked and Hotch barked a laugh as he opened the door to his office. They stepped onto the landing and Hotch headed over to Gideon's office. Tony sighed. Gideon would be against him. Hotch was determined to prove Tony's worth on the team, and Gideon would try to pick Tony apart, showing that he had no place here. It was going to get rough, but Tony was prepared. At least he hoped he was.

AN: Next time it'll be about the case. And Gideon. Because Gideon pisses me off to no extent. He's so high allmighty on his horse, and everyone's so damn infatuated with him and him being right that they don't see what he's really doing. DAMN YOU GIDEON!
