it's 2020. where are all of my friends?
i logged in tonight and scrolled through all my old posts and all the old comments. it made me hella nostalgic. i mean it was 15 years ago that we were all posting to these things. when i created this there was no facebook or myspace(though that one came around pretty soon after), no instagram or twitter or smartphones. we had AIM and our dial up internet and clever usernames and cool hair and band t-shirts.
i'm 32 now, and i'd go back if i could. i miss my friends.
if any of you ever check this old shit, like i did tonight, find me. at the moment, i'm @tryingtobealex on instagram (i started going by my middle name a couple of years ago - so, i'm alex, not andy) and on facebook as "alex ivy-townley." say hey, let's catch up. i'm gonna post this to all three ljs i used just in case.
