Happy Birthday to me!

May 24, 2006 21:09

Talk about an absolutely amazing day. Whoa man, I can't even begin to explain the degree of awesomness that my day contained, but I'll try anyway.

On the way to school Mary dear gave me the present she bought me. It's a Jack Sparrow action figure! Even though his pistol mysteriously disappeared and his cutlass snapped off at the hilt I still very much enjoy him. I freaked out in the car and couldn't help but have a piratey companion all day.

First hour was the standard happy birthday dancing/singing hampster with questions and such. It was fun, but Kenny's questions annoy me to no end. Really...I'd rather have him fall off a chair into a pit with an allegator than contemplate what I would do if I was in that situation. Ha!

Second hour was rehersal for honors night tonight. While I was gone Cassie-pie made me a happy birthday sign. She claims its 'sucky' I think its beautiful. Cassie, I hope we still remain friends even though I'm moving off to college. We definately need to hang out this summer!!!!! I love you dear and I'm also very sad that we waited so long to get to know each other and I'm glad that Joseph brought us together. ^_^

In Chemistry we had locker clean out so I roamed the halls with Mary and Vince. Afterwards I listened to Vince and Andrew ramble about random things and laughed a lot. I love those guys and if they don't talk to me once we're all seperated at college I will stalk them! This is their warning.

Lunch was amazing. Not only was I bombarded with hugs, but Ryan led the cafeteria in "Happy Birthday" while prancing around in his Ryan Bell-like way. It was very amusing and people cheered. He got me White chocolate M&Ms. They're "Pirate Pearls" and they are very tastey. I enjoy them immensly. They even have little skulls, ships, cutlasses and spy glasses printed on them! Jackie got me two bracelets that I wore for the rest of the day. ^_^

Rachael gave me the present she got me in Calculus. She gave me the book "Eats, shoots & leaves" and a little frame for her senior picture. She made me this gigantic brownie of her own recipie. Rachael's brownies are amazing and you have never tasted such sweet bliss until you bite into one of her brownies or cookies.

In sixth hour we listened to presentations. Andrew did his today, he was so snappy and energetic that he held my attention the entire time; his project was very interesting. Beth did hers today too. I started counting "um"'s half way through the presentation and ended up with a count of 15....mind you that this was at least two minutes into her five minute presentation. Her topic was interesting but I thought it could have flowed a little better.

Steve came over after school with my camera I let him borrow. I saw pictures of the scuplture he made for me and I love it. ^_^ I can't wait until it's out of the art show at Churchill and in my bedroom! We hung out for a bit afterwards. Jamie came by to drop off the presents Lyssa got me. While in Vegas, she got me an absolutely gorgeous Cirque du Soleil bag. I love it! She also got me a really nice aqua colored shirt from guess and matching bracelets.. I wore it tonight at honors. Beautiful! Mom came home with a dozen roses for me and a card. I opened the said card and guess what I found inside!!!!

A TICKET TO SEE WICKED!!!!!! I was so excited I was nearly speachless. Jamie tried to steal it.

Mom also ordered by combination birthday/graduation present online yesterday. It should come in July...it's a specially tailored pirate jacket that I'm so excited about.

Steve left and I got ready for honors night while mom and dad went out to dinner.

Honors night was pretty long and kind of boring. However! I received an english department award! What a surprise there. I'm so proud of myself. -dances-

Aunt Cindy yelled "Happy Birthday Chels!" When I was exiting the stage after my Magna Cum Laude award. So everyone knows its my birthday now. Hehe, it made me laugh.

Nana gave me a card with a $30 Kohl's card in it. So I'll get some goodies from in there.

This day was absolutely fantastic and I thank everyone who remembered, I love you all and I appreciate the warm thoughts and hugs.

I am one terribly happy girl.
