smesame street

Now that I'm on vacation and I can stay up past my bedtime, I'm spending my time acting like a child rather teaching them. I have been watching old Sesame Street clips. Not the muppets, but the non-sequitur cartoons and satisfying factory segments. Did you know that before little children made all the crayons of the world, grandma made them? My favorite cartoon so far is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1u0LGHIJZs I don't know how to post the video right here, so just copy and paste, ok? I like it because it's just like how you used to make characters out of raindrops on the car window or patterns on your bedspread or lines in your mittens when there was nothing else to play with. Also, the conclusion doesn't make any sense.

Continuing on the theme of not making sense, I'm excited for our mixed metaphor New Year's celebration at the High Noon. Airplanes and Bozo and Fascism, oh my!

And since you're dying to know, Dottie is doing just fine, thank you. She got to come along to Baraboo with us today and we saw a rusty Chevy bus from the sixties in the woods, right next to all the bones from a long-dead cow. They were kind of the same thing.
