My luck continues...
AHHHH I can't believe it. I'll get to see Duran Duran for 2 days straight because of pure luck. Let me tell you why.
As soon as it was announced that they were going to be on Jimmy Fallon (who is a babe!!), I called right away and got some of the last tickets available. Apparently they were gone a few minutes after duran duran officially announced it. So, I'll be there with 2 of my Duranie friends!! Set your dvr's for March 31st and look for me. :-)
Now, get this, I think this is the BEST show I'm about to attend...
A radio station show where you have to win your way in, and get this... there will only be like 400 people there, and it's in a hotel!!!! Can you get better than that? My friend won (who told me he's never won anything, and that I bring luck to everyone who's around me, lol. I don't know about that, though).
Anyway, it's at a Hilton hotel, and I got a room there. I looked at a picture of the room they're playing in, and it's not even a real stage. It's like a foot off the ground, lol. Wow, DD playing RIGHT in front of me. This show is called 2nd chance prom, so you have to dress formal and all. A good amount of the people winning might not even be into them.
I'm soooooooooo excited. Seeing them on Jimmy Fallon, then the next day driving up to Hartford to go to prom with Duran Duran. Looking forward to awesome times with them!!!
