went on a campout this weekend and it was awsom (with the anthropology students association)! went to ray roberts, so beautiful! josh and i got out there early saturday and set up camp, hung out, walked around on the beach, talked, he fished (but didnt catch anything). everybody else showed up around three, ryan rode his bike there of course. our campsite was on a peninsula, gorgeous place. when everybody showed up we played a little frizbee, caught little frogs, and dug up a bunch of red and blue clay. the blue clay had soft black spots, decaying pieces of wood... neato. a nice dig site, har har har. i found a nice ring in the ground but it didnt fit so i gave it to ryan to allways remember me by. we all watched the sunset, the moon was so gorgeous! and the stars were so clear. layed on the beach and stared, so peaceful. drinking was well under way and then we all went to a star gazing thing with lots of telescopes, and i got to talking to this self-taught pro-photogropher, had some great close up pictures of the moon, and i realy want to get that tatooed now. slept all snuggled up with other people in a tent (got cold!), it was cute. the next day, most of the people left and the rest of us went hiking (i climbed a tree) ended up on the beach, we wanted to go swimming but it was too cold, but i still got in a little. got to walk around toppless on the beach and sunbathe, it was great, i got to feel damp sand on my bare back, it was so liberating! i want to go again. it was so refreshing, no worries at all, i feel reguvinated. the fmla should organize to go! i have plans to take a canoo out there, possibly, i hope! the air was so fresh and sweet smelling, i was happy not taste car fumes for a while. now i can right my paper with ease i hope, now that i've had a break from the busy hussle and bussle of every day life.
