Follow The leader Jonathan was a very complex man.
The nagging feelings that fame was giving him
seriously
fucked with his head, and he started a hate
campaign against the music industry with songs
like Got The Life and Freak On A leash.
Jonathan struggled with feelings of hatred towards
himself, because he was making a living
bitching about how bad his life was
and he resented that, and wanted to do something
more.
Then, the Make A Wish Foundation called, and told
Korn about a child that was fatally ill with
colon cancer, named Justin, and
his last wish was to meet Korn, and spend time with
them. Jonathan realised, through talking to
Justin, that his career wasnt
just bitching about his life while his managers
were making money out of him, that kids
actually liked the music and the emotion
that all of Korn had in their music.
Then, theres the alcoholism. Korn guitarist Head
claimed that Jonathan was so drunk, he recorded
the album 's songs 5 or 6 times per
night and then screamed at the rest of Korn for
wasting time, the next morning, not remembering
wasting time
the night before re-recording the songs and then
even going back to the studio that afternoon,
getting drunk, and starting the process
all over again. Jonathan wasnt exactly a good
drunk, either. he always used to scream at his
bandmates for the stupidest things
and then black out, and not remember anything. Korn
used to avoid Jonathan when he was drunk, and
one time he punched Munky
for carrying out of the pub with Head, Head asked
Jonathan what he throught he was doing, then
Jonathan punched Head and
started vomiting.
Its true that FTL Jonathan drank a bottle of
Jagermeister a day and 30 jack and cokes.

Well, now that's great... "It's fuckin' jack 'o' clock!" was from FTL so... Doesn't really suprise me... But that quote is disturbing... I didn't really expect FTL though... I was thinkin' more or less Issues or LIP... Oh well, Jon was really messed up then... So I guess I'm glad I'm just an alcoholic and not a depressed suicidal skitzo(Issues) or a drug addicted spazz(LIP)...
