so I'm at work and there is only an hour left.. thank god. but still I'm miserably bored.. I milked what work I had for as long as I could but now I have reached the end of the internet and I don't know what to do with myself.
so what do I do..waste time "blogging" to myself..
This will be my first full week back since LA and I gotta paid today.. it was kind of a pathetic check but whatever.. its ca$h
LA was fabulous... hung out drove around ..made plans and kept them. Aside from the early drama getting to the airport, since my moms car started to flash suspicious lights and then at the airport electrical failure on my plane from the shitty heat causing the original flight to be cancelled and re-assigned, and then pressure failure on Janaes.. there were no last minute changes to our week.We all eventually got to LA and found each other.
Our earliest venture during the trip was driving to a great little private beach in Malibu where we sat out for a few hours with no more then 10 other people. the waves were pretty huge and the water was cold, but your meant to expect that from the Pacific ocean.
I also got to travel south of LA to San Diego to see where my friends B and K grew up and visit the wonderful city . I must also mention I had the most fabulous vegan taco salad... god.. I wish they could mail me one, right now... it had seasoned tofu instead of meat.. awesome guacamole lettuce and salsa and no cheese or sour cream would have even been neccessary. While I was there Comi-con the comic convention was going on and I really wish I could have .. while waiting HOURS for the train back to LA I was surrounded by all my fellow passengers and their swag they'd aquired at the event.
GOD... the train back... well to make life easier for B I left earlier in the day, however my 4pm train decided not to leave until 6 and its a 3 hour ride up the coast. I recommend that if anyone travels to CA and wants to venture the coast... take the train.. its inexpensive and beautiful.. unlike the train from NYC to lets say Phila, which is hideous.. This train sits directly on the cliffs and looks out over the beaches. The people on the beach wave as they picnic and surf.
That night we went to LAX.. we literally walked up to the line saw someone Janae knew and walked right in. I'm not gonna lie my head was huge for about 10 minutes after that.. haha
The remaining days we just relaxed and went to Santa Monica and walked around the Promenade and the beach then monday visited our friend in Oxnard... we drove 20+ miles to get him .. then back to LA for lunch at an AMAZING vegan restaurant and then back to Oxnard... he's a bitch but we love him and it was good to see him and have him harass us for a couple hours...
what elseeeee... Oh we visited Justin Timberlake's house from Punk'd.. not to mich a fan of his.. but when in LA.. you knowhowever, on the way back down Mulholland Dr. we DID see Matthew Perry from 'Friends'.. well Janae and Nikki did.. of course I wasn't paying that much attention.. I was overwhelmed by the awesome views
Tuesday we flew home and I was fortunate enough to see an old friend of mine from high school. She was on the same connecting flight that I was on to Vegas.. It was good seeing her since I hadn't since the night we graduated..
got to newark airport at 8am the next morning took the train back into manhattan and was at work miserably at 1030am... you know how I do ???
JESUS CHRIST... how do I still have 20 minutes left here???
I'm going home this afternoon to deposit my pay check.. yaay :) while all my friends are at TRL... YES TRL SEEING JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE... ONCE AGAIN... LUCKING FUCKING MARGOT BRITT FLEMING
