Title: Too Good
Fandom: 9th Doctor/Rose
Characters: Doctor and Rose
Prompt: #89 - She
Word Count: 289
Rating: G
Author's Notes: I finally felt inspired. Blame it on finals being this week and tomorrow- well, today being my day off. It's kinda fluffy. Kinda short for me, but I'm still kinda proud of it. And this one just proved that I need to go back and re-watch Series 1.

Someone please tell me how she did it.
One minute, I'm getting ready to try and talk my way past a bulky figure with no hair and probably the IQ of a shop window dummy so that we can track down a Plethoic Hirshkra- rather nasty carrier of an even worse virus that causes minor vampirism in humans. The next, she's butting her way in front of me, flirting with the bouncer.
I should have left her on the TARDIS. Then, she wouldn't be driving me so crazy with her antics. She'd be safe, and away from dangers- viral vampirism, vicious aliens, roving eyes of 6 foot 5 inch bouncers. That's what I get for travelling with the one human who rises far above the common "stupid ape." The one human who can face a room full of Gelth and Slitheen even!
Not that it matters as we enter. The bouncer is following Rose with his eyes, which seem to be focusing on one part of her anatomy. What is it with apes and posteriors? I'll never know. Not that Rose's isn't nice, but I'd prefer looking at her, seeing those hazel eyes twinkle. The face that's framed by hair that, while not natural, suits her perfectly, giving her a glow that hints at the light within.
"Doctor! I see 'im!" she calls out, yanking me from my reverie, that's gotten to be far too common.
"Fantastic!" is the only phrase I can utter that won't come out as gibberish. There are times that I think she's too good. Turning me- a nine hundred year old time lord- into something akin to a love struck teen... Could be worse I suppose. I could start babbling rudely in her presence.
