The New, Improved Character Survey of Doom...
I've had this typed up and saved for such a long time and am just getting to post it up now but here you guys go! All things Candice, my Candice anyway. I used this survey but typed the answers into a paragraph form except the associations at the bottom. I might eventually re-do it in actual survey form but who knows.
Body and Appearance:
Candice holds the power to change her appearance at will, however, she generally is found in a preferred appearance that puts her at about 5’6” with a trim and muscular build. Her exact age isn’t known but she’s said to be somewhere in her mid-twenties. She has good posture and never seems to slouch. She’s graceful and fluid in her motions, easily able to catch a door with her foot before it closes. She views her preferred appearance as attractive, though, it’s unclear what she sees when she looks in the mirror. Her skin is clear and has a pretty nice tan to it. Her hair is brown with natural highlighting to it and she wears it down more often than not, it’s got a slight wave to it when it gets longer than her shoulders and her eyes are brown. Her most note-worthy feature is probably her squared jaw. Her chief tension centers are definitely her shoulders. Her wardrobe is varied and mixes business with casual, tending to come off with a ‘naughty school girl’ look more often than not when she’s not just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She doesn’t dress the same for home as she does for work, clearly. Underwear wise thong, bikini-cut, sometimes she goes commando!

Candice’s voice falls somewhere between high-pitched and deep and sometimes has a bit of a hoarse-ness to it. She generally she speaks at an even tone, not too loud and not too soft and at an even pace too. She doesn’t hesitate when she speaks, her snarky remarks coming to her easily. She doesn’t have any noticeable accent or dialect and when she’s speaking to someone she tends to roll with their way of speaking. Candice only speaks English. She’s a great impromptu speaker and doesn’t really have to stop to think before she speaks. She’s eloquent when at work but inarticulate when away from work.
Mental and Emotional:
Candice is a very smart individual with a mix or book and street smarts though she tends to learn as she goes, very good at thinking on her feet. Candice’s line of thinking is a mix between logical and intuitive and while it used to be idealistic, she’s been trying to be more practical lately. Candice didn’t finish high school but was then trained by the Company when she joined. Her expertise is studying someone enough without really speaking to them to learn things around them that would make it easy for her to pass as them as need be. She’s always interested in learning new things though she isn’t picky on what those things are. Candice can be an introvert at times and an extrovert at other times; she’s careful what she divulges to people but she doesn’t keep everything to herself. Candice almost always shoes a very even temperament though she isn’t a stranger to mood swings, she’s pretty much learned how to control them to her benefit. She’s more cheerful than melancholy (even if that cheerfulness sine tunes gas dark context behind it.) and she’s driven though she usually appears to be very laid back. She always knows what she wants and is always working to get it, even if you can’t exactly tell. She is an illusionist, after all. She reacts to knew people and situations with a relaxed temperament, though she’s usually holds suspicion where suspicion is due. Whether she acts or reacts depends on the situation though she’d more likely to act first. Her default would have to be fight but she’ll flee when it’s clear she’s at a disadvantage. Candice has a very vast sense of humor, she appreciates jokes, puns, really any sort of humor but she knows there’s a time and place when it isn’t appropriate. She’s known to pull a prank or two with her powers too.. Who wouldn’t use powers of illusion to prank people? Candice doesn’t have any diagnosable mental disorders that are known, though there could be speculation for some. Moments that define her are few and far between but the most significant would have to be when she left her hometown and her high school, second would have to be when she started working for the Company and third would have to be when she left the Company. Above all, she fears rejection and tries to avoid it like the plague, she’s been known to change herself for acceptance in the past but she’d trying to avoid that now. If there was anyone, unrelated to her by blood that she would consider a part of her family, it’d be Amy Petrelli because she’s the only person she truly considers a friend and Amy knows more about her than she’ll probably let anyone else in her life know at this point. Candice gets along well with other people but tends to keep her distance and not consider anyone a friend because she doesn’t like letting people in to see the real her. She considers anyone who cares for her to be important, at this point it’s friends and not family because she has none. Currently, Candice is single and plans to stay that way but who knows! Candice doesn’t really look for a ‘romantic’ partner, she looks for someone to be physically intimate with and have fun with but she keeps people at arms length to prevent letting them in. She has no children or grandchildren yet. Currently she has no enemies or rivals but that’s likely to change. Candice is bisexual though she definitely leans more toward men, generally only having relations with girls she feels very close to or gets drunk with. Sex is sex to Candice, as of right now it hold no emotional value because that’s the way someone gets hurt. Candice’s turn-ons vary. One thing she enjoys doing is illusioning herself to look like someone else in the bedroom which is probably a weird quirk that some people might run from. She is tolerant of other’s beliefs but generally they tend to have no affect on her. Candice holds a big grudge against people she thinks to be ‘fake’ which is funny because she casts a constant illusion of what she wants people to see. Currently, Candice lives in an apartment in NYC, she’s been hiding out there for a little while after getting back from a long trip. She doesn’t go out much right now so it is her ‘castle’ so to speak; she lives alone. Candice doesn’t drop money on things she doesn’t really need, though if she really wanted something other than food, she could just illusion it to be there so it’s unnecessary! Currently she is unemployed and in search of a job. Right now she spends her free time watching TV and reading books but she does go out to the occasional bar or club. Candice is very much a binge eater who loves her alcohol, she doesn’t avoid anything or skip meals unless absolutely necessary.
