swim meet!
here is a long entry!!
this weekend was the Mike peppe meet in deleware oh. (near columbus). on friday we were told to meet at woodbury by 11:45 SHARP!! so i got there 2 minutes late and everyone was still sitting there. the van was late so we all sat there for 1 1/2 HOURS!!!! the van finally came and we loaded into it and rob's van (me, sarah, alexa, and meg were in rob's van). then we drove for 2 hours. we were supposed to stop at the hotel first but we were behind so we went to subway for lunch then went straight to the meet. it was really hot and sunny but atleast we were at the pool. the warm ups were really bad because they were so crowded and there were alot of rude people from other teams. everyone did pretty well in there events. after the meet we went back to the hotel where we had pizza for dinner. then we had to go to bed. alexa and i called for a wakeup call at 5:45am. the next morning i woke up and heard alexa say "Allison! Get up! We overslept!!" the clock said 6:30 (the time we were supposed to leave for the pool) so we grabbed our swimbags and got dressed and ran down to breakfast but noone was there so we checked for the van and it was still in the parkinglot so we ran upstairs. we knocked on rob&eric's door and rob answered half asleep. he asked what we were doing up and that they were about to come wake everyone up. it turns out our clock was an hour fast! so we were early, not late! the meet went pretty well but it was still hot!! meg made finals!!! after the morning session we had lunch at damons. sarah thought she lost her money or it had stuck to one of the glasses that was cleared from the table. so she had the waitress look for the money. then alexa found her own money in her shorts so the the money that was on the table was sarah's. then we went back to the hotel and everyone rested and played xbox or watched t.v. meg, alexa, sarah, and i walked over to walmart and tried on bakinis. yes, I tried on a BAKINI!! gasp! it looked pretty good but i didnt buy it. in the evening everyone went to watch finals. meg and tim did pretty well! we had subway for dinner and the same person was working there.we were crazy while we were eating and the man seemed really happy when we left. at the hotel we fixed our clock and packed up our stuff so we could just get up and go to the meet and go home. the next morning eric woke us up and our clock said 8:30 go figure!!? so we went to the meet and i did better on sunday than i did on sat..(i did pretty badly on sat..) meg and some of the boys made it to finals again! the people who didnt make finals went home after the morning session and the people in finals stayed for finals. the nonfinal people stopped at wendys for lunch (yummy!!!!!!!!) then we drove home. most people slept. i went to my brother's baseball game and i was the score keeper.
practice thismorning went by really fast! yay!!!
now i am at home typing this!! (duh!!)
