Introducing the first Scrawlwall Meme.
I'm sure most people around here have seen fan fiction memes of one form or another. People post requests (usually anonymously) and then other people write stories and post them (also, usually anonymously) to the request comment. Here at
scrawlwall we decided to do something similar. Anyone with a story request can

Pale, cool light flickered on the faces of the two figures reclined on the couch as soft instrumental music punctuated occasional by romantic dialogue filtered in from somewhere. Yukito was almost impossibly close to Touya, leaning up against him and resting his gray-haired head on the other’s shoulder. Touya’s arms were wrapped tightly Yukito’s smaller shoulders leading to where the fingers of their right hands entwined. The two of them were asleep, oblivious to the world and their observer, breathing slowly in tandem as a pile of half eaten snacks lay in front of them, forgotten.
A careful observer might have noticed how fine hair at the nape of Yukito’s neck was tussled or how the collar on Touya’s shirt was pulled out of shape or maybe how their lips were just a shade too red. There were also mirrored smudges of chocolate at the corners of their mouths and they were both smiling even in their sleep. A careful observer might have been able to guess what the two had been up to just before they fell asleep, but their actual observer didn’t need to guess. He’d seen more than enough already.

Touya wasn’t surprised to find his advisor and life long friend in one of the many quite studies off the main palace library. There were days when Touya could barely tear Yukito away from his books to eat something and some days he worried for his already thin friend’s health strained by the duties as High Priest.
What he hadn’t expected was to see his friend staring at the small glowing sliver orb cradled in his palms completely unaware of Touya’s entrance. Touya just shook his head knowingly. There were few things that could keep Yukito from an appointment and this particular distraction was one of his favorites. He moved carefully and silently into place behind his friend before beginning to speak.
“You shouldn’t be using up magic just to spy on them, Yukito,” Touya whispered into Yukito’s ear. The smaller man jumped, nearly loosing the orb in the process.
“Y-your Highness,” he stuttered as he fumbled the tiny silver light between his hands. Touya frowned.
“I thought I told you, it’s Touya when it’s just the two of us, remember.”
“Sorry, Touya,” he muttered, rubbing his ear where his friend’s breath had tickled before he continued. “And I never use my own magic to activate it. You know they do it all on their own when their innate magics resonate.”
Touya looked into the orb and their sleeping doppelgangers with a carefully observant eye, taking in the tiny details. He looked up at Yukito’s flushed face and smirked.
“You were watching them, weren’t you,” he asked teasingly while Yukito blushed an even brighter shade of red.
“W-well, I mean, it’s just that the magic, it, um, when they feel...close,” he sputtered. Touya just laughed and looked at the orb for a long contemplative moment.
“They really do love each other, don’t they,” he said softly after a long while to Yukito who nodded.
“Very much,” Yukito replied, then added “just like we do.” Touya frowned a little in thought.
“I know, but...” Touya trailed off and took Yukito’s free hand in his. “Don’t you think it’s a little strange? Before this orb we never really even thought about...well, you know.” Yukito chuckled as Touya blushed.
“It’s all part of the complex web of fate that draws people together,” Yukito replied with confidence and solemnity fitting of a High Priest. Touya only frowned more.
“You know I hate that fate stuff,” he muttered sourly prompting Yukito to laugh.
“You just don’t like fate because that’s what’s drawing Syaoran-kun closer to your little sister,” Yukito stated with a surety that left no room for discussion.
Touya made a tiny dismissive noise and drew his friend into the circle of his arms, pulling him close.
“You shouldn’t talk about the brat when we’re together,” Touya muttered, leaning in closer. Yukito chuckled.
“Oh, and why shouldn’t I do that?” he asked.
“Because,” Touya responded, “ I might not do this.” He pressed their lips together sweetly as the silver orb slipped from Yukito’s hand.
