- originally was born in the slums, but when his parents died and Bro decided to join SOLDIER, they managed to make their way up to the Middle plate.
- met the wonderp twins while he was up there, and befriended the shit out of them. things were pretty chill up there, if a bit difficult to deal with because he was hiding the traits from his mako poisoning (red eyes, grey fingertips/toes).
- then they returned to the slums after Bro went AWOL/renegade all over Shinra. this was about when he was 11.
- for the five years before Scratch was established, he ran around (sometimes with Bro, but mostly by himself) causing trouble for Shinra. a lot of theft and blowing shit up. he doesn't actually use/eat/whatever most of the shit that he steals and tends to give it to other people, whether he uhm. lockpicks his way into a house to leave it where they can find it or just outright gives it to them.
- he doesn't use materia that often, but prefers offensive when he does.
- he thinks the hugeass buster sword bullshit a la Zack and Cloud is retarded. that said, he will use just about anything else sword-wise, and keeps knives in his boots.
- along with swordsmanship, lockpicking, and bomb making, he's a free running fiend.
- though he really doesn't have much time for it these days, he still does music and photography. he's got a box of photos he's taken that he never shows anyone ever hidden under his bunk. it mostly has pictures of the members of SCRATCH in it that he's stealthily taken and developed, but there's a lot of rather unironic shit in there. ie; children actually having fun in the slums, the various animals that mill around, old pictures he took when he was up in the Middle class.
- though he has no idea what to do with them, he actually kind of spends a lot of time around slum kids. he brings them stuff when the rest of SCRATCH isn't looking.
- and he feeds a lot of the strays in the slums. BT his favorite is a cat he named Cheezburger, and a murder of crows lead by one Kanye.
- his schlera are almost completely yellow by this point, and he's got a lot of grey that he hides, including panda patches around his eyes. his freckles are also really dark, and have gone black on grey areas.
- yeah, he's a mutantblood with Karkat.
- he needs more CR COME TO HIM, TEAMMATES. except the midget bitch.
