Internet conking out + TOO much work + lack of inspiration = a not very productive me,
And it doesn't look like there's a break in the activities we have for the rest of September either, so...T_T Waaah. (Hello, Chem and CL activities.) I attempted PotC fic again last week, and got about a page done, but there's a very long, ugly scene that I need to rewrite/kill completely. I'm struggling with referencing Shakespeare for the story, because I'm not sure if his works were already popular in the movie's setting. Gah. It's probably too historically incorrect to pursue, but I can't shake the image of Jack Sparrow reciting Sonnet 119. ^^;;;
I need new avatars.

- Rice Wine (semi-original; geishas; ZOMG wine in two story titles I really suck)
- Ripples (Tutufic; Ahiru and her struggle to say or not to say)
- Bridges of Desire (Homunculus-fic. Everything seems to center on lust if you think hard enough)
- Like a Lark (Wizard of Oz; the Tin Man and the Scarecrow discuss Dorothy as she sleeps)
Also, I invite everyone to use Goodtree.com as a search engine. It gives to charity, and it returns good results too.

I'm not sure if we won the intrams, but I'm still so proud of what we've done this year. Also, galing ng basketball at volleyball games. ^^ Really exciting. Great job.
Currently reading Tales from Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin; it's painfully pretty, but for some reason I feel like I can hardly connect to it. There's too much tension and too much thought and too much restraint, despite all the beautiful wording and the meaningful plotlines. Maybe it's just me. I have yet to read the first and last stories, though, which are the two longest, so I still might change my mind.
