Mock and Weirdness

I went to the dentist's today, which isn't really of grave importance, except while waiting for my turn I watched the music video of David Bowie's 'Little China Girl'. I don't know much about old rock, but I found both the video - David Bowie pulling at his eyes to make them chinky - and the lyrics of the song: 'I stumble into town just/Like a sacred cow/Visions of swasticas in my head' - hilarious; maybe I simply don't get the allusions, but I found that very funny. (Or is it just me?)

I found a good title for a multi-chaptered story, although I'm not sure what to apply it to yet (original? fanfiction?). The main title will be either Mock (or Mockingbirds, but I'm not sure about that) and the chapter titles will be Enemies, Strangers, and Lovers (not necessarily in that order).

Also, for Filipinos, I stumbled across Angelo Suarez's collection of poetry entitled else it was purely girls last Saturday, and that is really worth getting. I can't relate to a lot of the guy-centric entries, but some of the things in there are really...amazing. (I can't quote much for fear of getting mowed down by publishers, but I really liked the poem entitled So. ^^ It reminded me a lot of Yuffie: She walks/nimbly then bumps/into a tree. Haha.)
