Happy fourth everyone.
Well, i'm back home. what a trip! my sister was down the week that i left with her boyfriend staying in daytona....anyway they left the same day my dad and i left but a few hours earlier. they called us from virginia....my sisters car had broken down. Well, dad and i drove from st pete to virginia to meet up with them that night - dad, bailey and i. and the uhaul full of shit.
we got up there late so we just got a hotel room and met up with erin and casey the next morning. come to find out - my sisters waterpump in her 99 passat went on her - causing her timing belt to break and the pistons to get fucked - resulting in the vehicle needing a new engine....
yeah. goodtimes....
anyway - they quoted 5300.00 for the engine and shit so we said - nope.
we left the car there fifty dollars for 'storage' fees and got back to vermont at about 830am the next morning....got caseys truck - borrowed a friends car tow, and took back off for virginia by 2pm. got to virginia around 3am the next morning, got the car on the tow, turned around and were back home in vermont by around 5pm.

then last night went to the local fireworks, saw tons of old friends and ended up at a bonfire party - gas, wood and beer make for a wonderful evening. not to mention about 50foot flames or so.
anyway, time to go wash my car, she's a mess.
